Michael Franti - The Sound of Sunshine

Has anyone listened to the new Michael Franti album The Sound Of Sunshine yet??? The first track, title the same as the album is such a great song, but then the album goes down hill from there. As with Franti's other albums, there is one or two really good songs and then the rest are just not that good. If you took all the good songs off of all of his albums and put them together you would have an absolutely amazing album of some of the greatest summer time songs Ive ever heard. I also have to complain about the release date which was only a week and a half ago, this album should have been put out in July and it would have done much better, the song The Sound Of Sunshine would have blown up everywhere and been a huge hit, but who wants to listen to that in the fall when its cold and the leaves are falling??? This time of the year makes me want to listen to bands like Starflyer 59, Explosions In The Sky and Swath... And of course The Misfits with Halloween right around the corner. Anyways, I suggest that you at least listen to the hit of that record, the first track The sound Of Sunshine, its such a great song, even though the rest of the album was a let down.
